Lisa Corvelli was born in Rochester, New York in March of 1991. She is part of a large family, having 8 siblings. 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Basically there was never a dull moment, even when she wanted one.
Background as an artist
Lisa loved art from the moment she learned to draw. As a kid around 7 or 8 she would take coloring books on animals and trace every single page. Around 10 or 11 years old she started taking private art lessons, where she learned how to paint and draw. Lisa started college at a community school and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and then moved onto the Rochester Institute of Technology where she got her bachelors degree in Illustration.
Lisa draws a lot of her creative influences from nature and the outdoors. She also has an obsession with patterns and designs and will incorporate them into her artwork. She works in a digital mixed media format for most of her current works but has a love for traditional watercolor paintings as well.
Lisa is a fan of the outdoors whenever she isn't working in her studio creating artwork. Her favorite past time is horseback riding at a friends local barn, where she hopes to someday own one of her own. She is happily married to her husband Dan and as a couple they like to stay active and go on hikes and participate in different sports such as volleyball, soccer, disc golf and ultimate frisbee.
She is also completely obsessed with French Bulldogs, and while she doesn't have one yet she hopes to have a cute little puppy by next year
